IMD Issues Request for Proposals for Professional
Real Estate and Strategic Advisory Services
Seeks best-in-class firms to assist in executing plans for growth and development
CHICAGO– The Illinois Medical District (IMD) today issued a request for proposals (RFP) for professional real estate and strategic advisory services. The purpose of the RFP is to identify qualified respondents whomeettheIMD'sneeds for real estate consulting services inorderto continue the IMD’s advancement as an economic engine for Chicago and a global destination for innovation and medical services.
The IMD seeks to work with firms that demonstrate an understanding of its organizational goals and mission, and how to best utilize existing and potential resources available to the IMD. The IMD is also interested in firms that demonstrate the capacity to fulfill and enhance the organization’s long term strategic vision for the District as a leader in patient care and medical research.

- Asset Analysis and Performance Advisory
- Leasing and Brokerage
- Strategic Marketing Services
- Development and Transaction Advisory Services
- Facilities and Asset Management
“We know that the expertise required to achieve the results we are seeking is specialized and advanced,” said IMD Executive Director Dr. Suzet McKinney. “The time is now for the IMD to put a stake in the ground as a leading health innovation district, so we’re seeking the best and brightest to help us do just that.”
The IMD will host a pre-proposal meeting on October 7, 2016. During the meeting, firms will have the opportunity to ask questions of the IMD regarding the RFP.

Firms may submit questions at any point up to and including the question submission cut-off date. Questions must be submitted in writing to IMD Chief of Staff Kate Schellinger. In accordance with the IMD procurement policy, questions and answers will be posted to the IMD website, and will be updated as needed.
